The AFM represents professional musicians playing in orchestras, bands, clubs, and theater—both on Broadway and on tour. AFM members make music for film, television, commercials, and sound recordings.

  1. The House Appropriations Committee meets Tuesday to finalize the FY26 spending bill for Interior, Environment + Related Agencies.

    With Republicans in control, everything from clean air protections to national parks funding is at risk.

    They're also aiding Trump's assault on the arts and humanities.
