A government-sanctioned "truth arbiter" will soon arrive at CBS. Their role will be to ensure that journalists do not criticize this Administration or express views that conflict with its agenda.

Apparently, having a different opinion than the Administration is now political bias.
This Administration wants to go after anyone it disagrees with.
That is a clear violation of the First Amendment and the law.
Those now feigning concern over low public trust in the media are the same ones who spent the last decade attacking and deliberately sowing distrust in media.
We must fight back against efforts to intimidate and harass anyone who questions power.

This Administration is not done with its assault on the First Amendment. In fact, it may only be beginning.
But such violations endure only when institutions choose capitulation over courage.
We must choose courage.
