3/ I’ll note that’s actually also an issue with the Trump admin. Environmental and Health issues not only aren’t a priority for this regime, it’s like they’re hell bent on unleashing catastrophes of apocalyptic proportions on the planet and humanity as a species.

2/ But while we need massive coverage on the fascist takeover in the US, there are actually other crises in the world that need coverage and this is one of them. This microplastics issue is a matter of survival. You can’t act like that’s not important or urgent even if it is less immediately urgent.

Like I said in my comment: when do we worry about it then? Because there is always a more immediately pressing issue. I would understand you getting mad at them covering another celebrity breakup or doing yet another story on Biden’s health like he’s still in office. 1/

Not that I disagree, but why comment this on this specific article? This is actually important too. It might be less urgent but it is a huge crisis coming our way and there is always gonna be something more immediately urgent, and in the meantime how long do we keep ignoring this?
