  1. I watched KPop Demon Hunters with my grandson (at his request) & it was great

    My favourite part was at one point a character made a joke, & my grandson turned and made deliberate eye contact to check that I'd reacted to it

    Eye contact & a big grin. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful that was

  3. That'll be the rain on again, then

    Last night so much rain forced itself under my door that my porch was flooded to about half a centimetre. I've scrubbed the door frame & hopefully unblocked the drainage holes, but when the wind blows the rain straight against the door there's not much one can do
