So I'm stuck thinking that maybe I should get him one that has a grinder etc built in but it feels WRONG because I know that it's not as good as having a decent separate stepless one. I have given him various bits of cooking kit over the years and he never uses them for long.

Somehow I have apparently promised to buy my brother a coffee machine and I have no idea whether it's meant to be some bean-to-cup monstrosity or an espresso machine. I absolutely don't believe he's likely to actually make espresso and steam milk properly but his wife seems to naively think he will.

I like to grow my thumbnails long and make them sharp and pointy and people ask me whether it means I play the guitar and I sort of avoid answering but really it's because I like dinosaurs and as a kid I loved Iguanodon and its pointy thumbs.
