The CEO of a multi-trillion-dollar company walked into the White House, handed the president a gold gift, and soon after, his company got a special exemption from tariffs the president illegally imposed. The Founders took bribery so seriously, they banned it three separate times in the Constitution.

  1. Inforce the Constitution rules on Emoluments as Trump gets away with murder. Even the Musk. Trumps working both sides Taking bribes & offering them. Against the law. Arrest him.

  2. Yes, but the founders also expected us to shoot corrupt politicians when they broke the Constitution. Either via duels or militia.

The thing about codes, laws or Constitutions is that if no one uses force to enforce them they’re meaningless. Suggestions at best.

  3. Before the Protestant Reformation and subsequently the counter reformation, this is what the Catholic Church got away with. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit helped guide the Pope and Bishops through. I pray God helps here, too.

  6. If America does not stand up to this and boycott all Apple products and Tim Cook we are not doing our part. The consumers have the power we must use it to tell these greedy CEO's that could care less about us to go to hell.

  7. He did what he had to do, play by the rules of a corrupt system. I'm not thrilled about what he did but I don't think he had much choice.

  8. Meanwhile, Cook invested in America's microchip industry under Bidens CHIPs act. But no one there would mention it because of course not

  9. It is super convenient that the Supreme Court has ruled that it’s only bribery if it comes with a handwritten note that said “this is a bribe”

  11. Arrest the dealers not the users. It’s all on Trump. CEOs are just trying to save their companies.

  13. There is no honor, kindness, goodness, or intelligence in the White House. What once was a pillar of integrity, decency, and compassion, is no more. Donald Trump, is doing his best, with the help of his hideous cult in Congress and elsewhere, to destroy every GOOD thing, there ever was.😞

  15. Makes you wonder how many other CEOs Trump is shaking down behind the scenes. They should band together and out his mobster behavior instead of caving in like pu33ies.

  16. Shameful! How far America has fallen! Shining light on the hill of corruption! I'm so glad I don't have to use any Apple products... They're wonderful products, but now its a fuxk3d up company! Bye bye!

  17. The Constitution only works if the people we elect to Congress enforce it. Since just about every congressperson from both Parties are on the take too, they just throw up their hands & say “we can’t prosecute a sitting President” & then go back to taking their own bribes.

  19. The Constitution banned bribery multiple times because the Founders knew that unchecked corruption destroys trust, fairness, and the rule of law. Yet here we are, watching history repeat.

  20. And he's taking bribes in all three ways too. This GOP Congress has much to answer for if we ever get rid of him.

  22. I guess this shows that actions speak louder than words.

It is irrelevant what is written in the constitution unless it is made manifest and/or there are consequences for breaking said rules of behavior.

  23. At this point the entire ménage à trois needs a reckoning, #trump because he is taking the bribe #timcook offering a bribe and #apple for funding the whole thing...

  24. Oh, just wait. The pathological liar isn't yet done with that multi-trillion-dollar company. He'll definitely take gold trinkets, but there's nothing that says he'll honor any deal that supposedly has been made. Those tariffs are very much likely still in place.

  26. Turns out the Founding Fathers were quite naive to think people would care enough to actually apply exiting constitutional amendment and laws that protect the Republic.

  27. The Constitution say what Alito's clerks say it says. "Fuck you, because we say so." He knows there will never be an impeachment. No one can touch him. And he acts like it.

  28. That’s good for them……I’m starting to realize the constitution is not what it’s made out to be……sure it creates democracy, with like 10000 workarounds…..that’s not democracy.

  29. I honestly don’t feel a gold plated trinket should count as a bribe. Tim Cook stroked trump’s ego, and got billions of dollars of tariff exemptions in return. He played trump for the clown he really is. In my opinion, Apple will make investments in the US that make sense to Apple, regardless of 🍊🤡.

  30. Too bad the founders didn't address SCOTUS corruption in our almost perfect Constitution. I believe they couldn't conceive of open deception within all 3 branches at once, each enabling the others.

  31. Trump’s tariff’s cost Apple $800m in Q2 and are on track to cost Apple $1.1B in Q3 - as well as lead to low sales of their products should they raise prices. If the gold gift can reduce further losses, it may be worth it.

  33. trump has proven he's easily had. He doesn't display strength, he displays weakness everyday he's in office. Why some look up to him will forever be a mystery. Especially when he could care less about them, he got their vote, that's all he needed.

  34. And Trump takes bribery so seriously that he has devised numerous schemes to profit from it!

If this were the 18th century he would have already been imprisoned as a petty thief, shot as a scoundrel, or hung as a traitor.

  35. Which does not matter at all since the US judicative has been compromised as per #Project2025 / #Heritage Foundation playbook.

  36. Politics has always been about bribery. Doesn’t make it right, doesn’t make it legal. This government just doesn’t hide it because they know no one penalizes them. Same as in Canada. We aren’t any better. We have a Premier that is making decisions to pay back his buddies that supported him.
