When you say how hopeless it is to talk to certain political groups, remember you're also dismissing the 19 year old who has been intentionally isolated their whole life and is just starting to see the real world for the first time.
The people who don't want to believe what he says want some scrap of something they can hold onto. It doesn't have to be reasonable just enough to say it's not impossible.
Or he's done the math, knows they're going to do it anyway and thinks telling them to do it will make it easier to defend himself.
Yep. Most people try to be nice, but there is just no hiding how disinterested they are.
I am scheduling some of my posts. It's not because I'm not on or because I need to. It's because when they're scheduled I'm less likely to waste time refreshing the page to see if I have notifications.
There is a level of wealth and power that even people you trust shouldn't have. Someone can be doing what they think is good for everyone and still be undercutting democracy .
