Agree. I walk the paths a lot. So many cyclists don’t ring the bell when they approach from behind. They can be so quiet as they approach, and if I don’t hear them I might make a little sidestep to the left due to a stumble or whatever, and then BOOM! It’s been close a few times.

I didn't even hear the escooters until they were nearly on us. My daughter heard them. And yes, they are going way too fast. I don't disagree with multiuse paths but the main responsibility is on the wheeled folks because they can kill people. Walkers and runners aren't going to maim or kill.
