the system is broken beyond repair. arguing about how to nudge it back towards being good (which is never was) is exactly what the people who broke it want you to waste your time on. systems decay, and then they must die for new ones to take their place.

the problem is that there are two separate "we"s, and the "we" that is accelerating the climate crisis isnt the "we" that will ever get left behind.
and the biggest problem is that half of america has been tricked into thinking they're part of the "we" that will benefit from all this.

if any politician was america first, they would have implemented universal healthcare already. they are all profit first. america is a profit first country from top to bottom. it's not going to change, it's just going to continue declining until it finally falls apart.

please dont tax this. make it completely fucking illegal. stop letting rich people take out any loans. they have the money. if they want to invest it, they should have to spend it.
