As I said, my husband has been a Dem for 50 years. He ran a lot of union construction projects. I have been a Dem 40 years. I taught science in high school. We have tried to educate other white people. I managed to get my elderly mom to vote for Harris. Most of the others are stupid/stubborn.

He is right about Republicans.
These people aren’t representatives, they’re bulldozers pushing the agenda of dear leader. A small percentage is all in favor of this cruelty but most of us are not.

Regardless of party? It’s not Democrats sending people to concentration camps. It’s not Democrats censoring free speech. Republicans are CANCELING programs just because jokes hurt their feelings. This is the same crowd who ran around screaming about cancel culture and said, “Fuck your feelings.”

When that happens, I want to go after their guns with a vengeance. I am talking about guns designed for combat like AR-15’s and AK-47’s. Both are overkill for self defense or hunting. They are violating our Constitutional rights every single day!

It’s anti-American. It’s against everything we have cherished for over two hundred years. Young people need to understand Republicans are literally terminating their Constitutional rights to speak freely and everything else. They have to vote for Dems or they will lose everything.

All this proves to me is the Republicans don’t respect the Constitution. They treat it’s like toilet paper by discarding the parts they don’t like. For example, firing late night hosts is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. Republicans want to silence anyone who hurts their feelings. It’s wrong!

We use to associate with them before they got on the Trump train. The fact they continue to support such a depraved, lawless, cruel man is just something that’s completely unacceptable to us. And, what use to be civil debates about politics became hostile debates about politics. It’s not worth it.

Really? I am a white Boomer who has been a Democrat for 40 years. My husband is a white Boomer who has been a Democrat for 50 years. He is also a retired union member. We aren’t all the same. However, I do understand a lot of white, older men are Republicans. And, we don’t associate with them.
