Even when the copyright owners ACTUALLY OWN THE COPYRIGHT, the claims are almost always exceptionally spurious and clearly fall under fair use but it does not matter because its still somehow on the creator to fight these massive corporations. Youtube does not support its creators, full stop.

I dont think it should be on creators, who are placed as guilty until proven innocent, to fucking investigate fake companies copyright claiming things they very easily and provably don't own. It is absolutely absurd how much fraudulent copyright claims youtube allows with no verification.
-
Another was a claim by a fake company on a song that they do not remotely own the copyright to at all, and which is explicitly in creative commons and whos actual creator has had to put up a thing saying "if you get a claim dispute its not me or my label". Like the musician regularly has this issue.
-
To expand on this, one was a song from 300 years ago that has been in the public domain for an exceptionally long time, a company that is known for pulling clearly false copyright claims tried to claim the COMPOSITION. Not claiming the performance, but the fucking sheet music for it.
Literally been a hotbed for radicalizing people to the far right while restricting marginalized voices for a decade, has the most egregiously abusable copyright system(ive had copyright claims that were fully untrue that I had to get support staff help with) and they do nothing about hate speech.
-
But nah lets just keep making community guideline violations except they cant even cite their own community guidelines to say what was claimed, lie and miscommunicate policy to creators, randomly ban people, and add a bunch of AI slop no one wants.

The worst part of being on youtube is that you are on youtube, a website whose response to being told its issues is to fix nothing and make new ones. Like this week making it so we have to go disable their AI dubbing bullshit, while they also implement this age restriction AI nonsense.

The number of white dudes wearing ironic T-shirts on a workout ball....................

I dont know what the solution is but people in general really need to learn how to be normal about people they are attracted to.

I do relate sadly. I dont post pictures of myself pretty much ever and Ive contemplated not doing on camera anymore cause people are weird. I have a no commenting on my body rule for streaming that my chat is p good at telling new people. Its exhausting to only exist to be sexualised.
