This was the subtext of my post about selling out- watching genuinely talented writers make their nut writing anti-liberal bilge online and feeling like Cassavetes telling Scorsese he'd wasted a year of his life making shit after seeing Boxcar Bertha.
Seems like a problem that most every smart liberal and left wing writer, researcher, analyst, and NGO worker I know is unemployed, grossly underpaid, or in a super unstable job, while a bunch of 20 year old Nazis with the talent and expertise of ass hair are getting paid $300K to post on Twitter.
