I noticed that too. But omg that poor boy watching his beloved pooch get hurt on top of the fear. Just anything to be cruel.

People can be upset about both.
It is an intimidation tactic. When someone is in a position of power, is armed, and is also unhinged enough to kill or abuse a family dog for no reason, is there a limit to what this person can do to a human?
