I used to love reading for pleasure, then grad school just killed my motivation to do so after reading as much as I had to for my program. I have a stack of books I'd like to read again soon, just struggling with the motivation!

Senator Kaine posted this today, and, as far as I can tell, neither he nor Warner mentioned the "why" behind this federal funding pull. I know it's petty of me, but like they gotta say the word "transgender" at some point. Thankful the Virginia Dems are standing up.

It's hard to explain to my cis friends how the man who interjects himself into every aspect of our lives also somehow interjects trans talk into every conversation. But I make sure to send them each clip just so they know that this is the reality almost every single time he opens his mouth.

And, in perhaps some circumstances, some institutions presidents or boards may agree with the "punishments" but have an excuse to use "Trump made us do it" as a cover.
