Brasil has competing, multiple centres of power (not only two parties), gerrymander-proof electoral districts (the electoral system is neutral and hard to corrupt), 3-level federalism, a modern, non-archaic constitution which can be amended regularly, and so on.
yeah it's pretty insane to compare a country like that to a flaming dumpster fire like the US

Having the oldest constitution doesn't make it the best constitution by any means. In fact, in a lot of ways it is quite bad.

Brazil has many many many problems but at least it doesn't have anything similar to a Republican Party, the right there hasn't been this fragmented in years.
