Well if you can jams and pickles canning tomatoes is just as easy just more steps. It gives you 18 months to use the canned tomatoes. I’m ambitious so I make Italian sauce with as much as I can then can that. I’ll use a quart make meatballs then have pasta. Easy peasy.

It’s been tomato weather and my cup runneth over. I’ve already canned 3 cases of quart jars and another case on the way. My eating tomatoes 🍅 have been delicious and huge. My plants are starting to show signs of slowing thankfully.
