  1. Hey Saint Paul Ward 4 residents, I just biked by at least 4 polling stations in the Ward and things are looking a little slow. If you haven’t yet voted, please, make a plan to get to your polling place today!!

  2. Absolutely. And make sure that at least one other person knows the whereabouts of that paperwork and how to access it. Preferably a close family member or executor if you have one.

If you do a will & living trust so that your spouse&kids will not have to deal with probate, be aware that you need to retain the original signed papers in a place they can find it.

And that law firms who say they will keep that paper safe for you can just disappear, especially after 40 years.

  3. Tried to watch a Colbert Late Show rerun last night from back in the winter and had I not lived through it, the entirety of his monologue was completely preposterous, impossible, fire the writers stuff. Then the Jardiance and Lumé ads? What world have I been transported to? Have I lost my mind?! 😳

  4. Saint Paul Ward 4 voting day!

I'm voting for Molly Coleman with the hope that she can bring some pragmatism along with solid progressive values to our City Council.

We need a Council that will WORK on city issues in order for our beautiful Capital city to reach its potential. And Molly is a start!

  5. Musician Mark Knopfler carrying a bike, and explaining, in a Salon interview, what it means to be captivated by a beautiful bicycle

    Happy #BicycleBirthday, Mark! Born August 12, 1949

Photo of a man holding a bicycle on his shoulder.I had an interview this morning at the BBC, and I was a bit early. I walked around the block and there’s a bicycle shop there. And I just started looking at these bicycles, and then I thought, What am I doing? I already have a bicycle. But I like bicycles. That’s what I’m doing. They’re beautiful bicycles. It’s obviously a cracking shop. And I’m just standing there, edging around this window, just the way I would in a guitar shop or a motorcycle shop. And it’s because I like them. I’ve always liked bicycles, and I’ll probably go on liking bicycles. I actually bought an old Colnago recently, an Italian racing bike — not because I can ride it, but just because it’s an object of such beauty. I’m afraid I can’t do justice to an old road-racing bike, and it’ll probably end up going to someone who can ride it properly. But it has this lovely steel frame, just a beautiful thing.
