I’m genuinely more afraid of the long term consequences of what he may do (& is doing) than many of the other asshats currently in positions of power

I aspire to be, in D&D terms, chaotic good but actually default to lawful good - the questions above are from a lot of years of therapy & have helped me to get closer to living up to my aspirations
It’s really about the rule you’re breaking. Will breaking it violate your personal ideals/morals? What are the real (not imagined or guessed at) consequences of breaking it? Some rules are guidelines in practice, some exist to aid the social contract, & some are simply wrong & need to be challenged.

She said the big difference is that we don’t necessarily snore, or snore much - instead apnea presents as insomnia. Which I thought was very interesting since increasing insomnia is a symptom of LC. She also said that the muscle exhaustion/weakness from LC applies to the muscles that make us breathe
This made me want to pull out my crewel embroidery again! I haven’t even tried to do it since I got LC, but I think I’m going to give the pretty simple project I put down 3yrs ago a bit of a go 😊

-MCAS & POTS were mentioned with concern by the dr before I brought up either of them -I saw the Dr who is the head of the program, she’s a pulmonologist & sleep expert -I was treated w/respect 😱 It’s the Baylor College of Medicine’s post covid clinic if anyone’s curious.
