They’re not owned by an autocratic state. Neither the Glazers nor Ratcliffe have anything even close to the same wealth, or same motivations for buying the clubs.

I have, however, written about their ticket issues, too - but we’re not discussing United’s owners, we’re discussing City’s

No, I’m criticising your coverage of Citys owners. They’re far from perfect but you’ve just proved my point. Their owners treat their fans as badly as ours. You’re not impartial!! Ratcliffe’s a billionaire, he could do more too.

You’re not interested in balance. You have an agenda. It is what it is

  1. And, with respect, my book on all of these issues has won football book of the year. It’s currently nominated for the William Hill, the most prestigious award in sports writing.

These are about the best judges you can get on what constitutes “balance” and an “agenda”

  2. On what basis are you criticising it or calling it “impartial”? Not all owners are just the same because they’re owners. The fact they’re an autocratic state is the most significant fact possible.

And I’ve literally written that Ratcliffe can do more - but you don’t read anything I write!
