It's Donnie's way of getting rid of veterans who are dealing with PTSD. He doesn't like seeing veterans that are not able to deal with society. Put them in jail oe a camp. Make it a for profit prison so they will never be released and can work as cheap labor.

It would be good if people were outraged about children being murdered in schools, about people being kidnapped in the streets or at work, and the fact that anyone has to sleep on a bench.

We should be outraged with both but in a different way with the person sleeping on a bench. No one should be homeless in a country as wealthy as the US. Off we can spend a trillion dollars on defense, we can solve homelessness.

People are weird about others sleeping.
I used to be a contractor, and I'd sometimes work from 6am to 9pm.
When I would have an appointment (~30m long) at 4pm, and then one at 6pm nearby, and sometimes just snooze in my car.
Can't tell you how many people called the cops on me for taking a nap.
