I am guessing it keeps his hands clean. Also spite. Memphis has historically bucked TN. They pulled down confederate statues. n’ville passed a bill forbidding rmv the statues from public land, so Mem promptly transferred the parks to a private charity and kept going.

The rest of TN actually hates Memphis as a blue dot in a red state. Not surprised at all that Nashville would happily embrace this.

Today I feel we face a similar threat but from inside the house. I urge you all to examine our country’s core principles, read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers and ask yourself, despite party and politics where you want this experiment to go.

They aren’t unique , they aren’t special, they are in many ways quite pathetic, but they knew how to tap into hatred and devotion and mold them towards a purpose. They aren’t exceptionally evil in that sense just manipulative.

9/11 a day that impacted the course of the nation and myself. It’s a solemn day. I have unlike most my fellow citizens, had the opportunity to face and talk with the men that caused that tragedy.
