Escrever, desenhar, compor etc, tudo isso dá trabalho. E se você cedeu à pressão e decidiu se formar em marketing em vez de fazer o que queria fazer porque "arte não dá dinheiro", o problema é todinho seu. Não de quem cria.
gAI art is bad because it's stealing labor.
stealing labor from art is easy because no one sees art as labor, they see it as talent.
they see it as talent because it's easier to believe they have a right to hate you because they can't stand they gave up and you didn't.
fuck them, pay labor.

I wrote about how these bullshit “child safety” laws that are framed as cracking down on big tech actually do the exact opposite, for @zeteo.com
The Latest Government Gift to Big Tech and Corporate Power
Lawmakers claim new age verification laws are about ‘child safety’ – but, in reality, they expand surveillance and silence dissent.

how is any normal human supposed to not "wish ill" on these ghouls, man?
In the Katie Miller podcast no one watched, Vance bragged about being the tough parent who pulls his kids aside and tells them to cut the shit so they don’t embarrass him in public. He said they threaten to call social services all the time and he says “That’s not how it works.” He volunteered this.

I'm having some eyesight problems, especially with reading small print under a light, and in the past year I literally started reading stuff on my TV. like, a normal PDF at bonkers % zoom. it's amazing.

as someone who has my PC connect to my main TV, who often reads on an iPad or Kindle, I understand that it exists but the connection of screen and 'not reading' is totally alien to me. in fact, these screens have increased the amount I read by quite a lot over the years as they entered my life
No. Ignore this. You are capable of reading books again. The brain is highly malleable and you only need a few screen-free weeks to recover your focus. You will be amazed how quickly the hunger for reading returns. You will be inhaling words

JD Vance getting booed everywhere he goes so he has to ask the secret service to evacuate the entire city block so he can go to a restaurant is one of the few good subplots we have right now

the distinction between agencies is becoming less and less relevant since most have abandoned their legal mandates anyway and they’re all being amalgamated. they’re all just Trump agents now.
Agents amass in DC, unclear why or which agency. Some masked.
Residents: “You’re in a church parking lot—get out!” “We don’t want you kidnapping our neighbors!”
Agents start recording too.
Soon decide to leave, some mockingly wave their phones. They zoom down the 25mph road, skimming by our feet.
