The FT writes: ‘In Trump’s interview with GB News, its correspondent, Bev Turner, gave North Korea’s broadcasters a run for their money. “It feels much safer here,” Turner said, contrasting Washington to London, though the chances of being murdered in DC are around 26 times higher than in London.

Good piece by Ed Luce, but I disagreed with his use of the word dishonest re the sloppy edit. To me is was an example of lazy journalism when something is taken as read. Someone probably said we need the TV equivalent of an ellipsis here and was told ‘oh come on, we all know what he [Trump] meant.’
