the degradation / dismantling of Eater is such a damn shame. in a world of influencer- and bot-skewed restaurant ratings, googling "eater [city]" provided guidance from passionate locals with good taste; it was a cheat code for eating well wherever you traveled

I just have to say, on the off chance that anyone follows me who has a cool job they’re hiring for, that Amy is one of the greatest people I’ve ever crossed paths with. Don’t hire her if you hate your employees though, because she will give her heart and soul and knuckles for them.
