Maybe this is a joke and I’m too obtuse, but absolutely the fuck not. The National Guard did not even a little bit sign up for this. At ALL. I mean sure, some are bad. But this is so fucking stupid. I have personal experience here. no. Fuck this.

At the end of the day…we’ve created a system so entrenched in income and racial inequality that institutions like the National Guard may not be what you think they are. Folks looking for a lifeline join the Army, then the Guard. Comparing them all to Nazis without nuance serves none of us.
