I saw Pete Yorn w/ my “big sister” 23 years ago at Engine Room in Houston, but didn’t get to hear my fav song cause he didn’t start until around midnight. Thankfully, I got to see him Tuesday night and finally hear my song. Only thing missing was my late “big sister,” but he was there in spirit.

It’s National Adopt A Shelter Pet Day! I went to the SF SPCA 14 years ago this month to adopt an older chihuahua, but when she rejected me, 6 mos old Brooklyn (her shelter name was Bubble) came up and demanded I adopt her instead. So I did! She may cause me anxiety at her age, but she’s the best!
