You do realize that that's essentially nothing in C-level salaries, right? That's about the same salary as 10 senior programmers....not "nothing", but not really a gotcha in any way.

Y'know I usually say that people don't get Ph.D.s by accident but in your case I think I might make an exception because this is one of the stupidest arguments you could make in the wake of the largest source of independent journalism in the US being destroyed.
