Why are people still surprised? He is doing it because he hasn't been stopped with immigration.
This is like with democracy. When the Rs say something, NEVER assume this is for everyone. But they want you to assume this is for everyone.
We hear that democracy support in decline. I believe this and it makes sense. Before November 2024 Democrats and maga supported democracy, but for different reasons - Democrats for the principle, maga - to get to power peacefully. After November 2024 maga, while in power, does not support democracy.
It's unknown what orders will be given in the cities. It's possible they may vary from city to city.
The rumor has it that ICE will be deployed to polls in 2026 midterms make them akin to the Crimean "referendum" in 2014.
There's another way to look at it.

Something needs to be done with this stupidity to erode those 41% supporting maga. That is an aggressive group and if it stays as is the country is heading to a very active phase of a civil war. This is a sad and messy reality.
