  1. Australia must set its 2035 emissions target by month’s end.

The Climate Change Authority recommended 65–75% cuts, but we’re still off track for 43% by 2030.

Interested to hear everyone's predictions for the new target, and whether we'll meet our current one before the end of the decade?

  2. Sounds like a great solution for you. I wonder whether it will scale up much with the higher battery penetration, or stay niche because it needs folks to be so active in its management. For some people like you thats obviously a benefit, but I imagine others would see it as a detracting factor

  3. This is awesome, glad it's saving you cash. If you don't mind me asking, how much of a different has it made to your bill?

I've heard of local volts, but you're the first person Ive come across that uses it. Do you find that it takes much effort/time to engage with versus a traditional VPP?

  4. Even with the 30% rebate home batteries are very pricey and may take years to pay off. Also, making money from batteries relies on volatility (charging when prices are low, discharging when it is high) and that might not stick around depending on how the next few years of grid investment goes
