If someone tells you there's nothing we can do about gun violence beyond thoughts and prayers, remind them:

Think, people. We are in the middle of an authoritarian coup. There could not be a worse time to be screaming for gun laws- they might just listen to you.
Our militarized police force flashbangs babies in no-knock raids. Gangs of armed masked thugs who refuse to identify themselves are disappearing immigrants and citizens alike if there’s any question of nationality. They are not following due process
