When my ex used to have trouble drawing hands in their art, I, notably untalented at art, would tease them, "Drawing hands is easy!" When they would annoyedly ask how, I would say, "You put your hand on the paper and you trace it!" and do a hand turkey. They laughed a lot at this.

It's fucked up, but probably no less fucked up, then, say, junk mail which uses the same font as certain federal agencies and has "Important: This is a time sensitive communication" on it. Information literacy can help identify both scams.

Do you remember what happened when ATC went on strike in 1981? If the government is crippled due to strikes, then the regressives will blame the strikers rather than the administration. And asking them to all quit is a big ask as we are on the precipice of an economic collapse.

But we do, unless we're determined that the Constitution no longer serves and should be discarded. Presidential malfeasance is held accountable by Congress, who either choose to or cannot do anything. Congressional malfeasance is held accountable by elections or recalls.

Folks, the point of a CW warning is to warn. If you spoiler out the warning, you're not actually providing assistance to folks who might want to avoid the particular subject matter.

I'd be careful with this report. I've seen it posted three times by folks I don't know, almost verbatim, but I've seen no coverage by the folks I trust who cover the war with an eye on the Ukranian side. Kyiv definitely got hit, but it feels like someone's trying to inject FUD into the discourse.

That's actually pretty invalidating. I think it's stupid, and I think they're stupid for caring and have been manipulated, but I do acknowledge that they care in their own selfish, heuristic, tainted fashion.
