I've been on megas, not on gigas.
Yes, I am very keenly aware of the revolting and often criminal inclinations of the uber wealthy.
They honestly believe themselves to be divinely chosen, and all others (you and me) are viewed with utter contempt.

Anyone who has spent time on a megayacht or worse a gigayacht knows the industry that Epstein & Trump participated in and purveyed is still very much in bloom. Indecency is the coin of the realm for the uber wealthy.
I contend that future peoples will look back on us with horror, disgust, and pity that so many went without basic needs while a small cabal blasted off to orbit in private spaceships.
I worked tirelessly for 20 yrs in US govt and politics at all levels.
But after Nov 2024, I quit. And I am not alone. There are thousands of others like me.
Your life without us will be much harder. You might be seeing that now. If you haven't yet, you will.

What happened in LA won't stay in LA. What is happening in Texas won't stay in Texas.

Americans "saw death" during the COVID pandemic square-on. Millions of us died. Yet we STILL chose dumbfuckery over science.
Why? In my opinion; COVID wasn't deadly enough. And also did not visually disfigure those who were infected. Thus, horseshit make-believe was allowed a foothold over reality.
With regard to Trump claiming that drug prices have fallen "1500%"
Fox News and the political Right will undoubtedly spin yarns like "what Trump meant was...", or other permutations of that phrase, but the stone cold reality of it, plain and simple, is that Donald Trump is a fucking dumbass.
