New video live now! It's my look at the first of the Dragon Age tie-in novels, "The Stolen Throne" by David Gaider. This was a lot of fun and I can't wait to talk to you all about the next one!

Holy sh!t. The medical conspiracy theory now is that cancer helps the body fight toxins. This is so dangerous and people are believing her?!?!

i was really nervous about seeing anything too adult as a 31-year-young female internet user, but luckily mastercard is there to the rescue to censor all the futanari hentai doujinshi on the internet ^w^

This is gonna be a general comment rather than answering to every person that comments/asks about it: the diagnosis criterion for autogynephilia is vibes. I believe Blanchard stated it out loud once, he believed he could "diagnose" whether one was AGP by looking at them once. It's vibes.
If you follow the trajectory of type theory over the years, youโll see an interesting shift: from the prototypical AGP being a hypermasculine athlete toward being a delicate nerd.
The concept gets refined in real time to โexplainโ available public images of trans women.

That New York Post headline is hilarious; the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority said it needed $32 million more, whereas the amount being given to police is $343 million; Missouri mandates 25% of the city's revenue goes to cops. But "socialism doesn't work."
Kansas City budgets more money for police. A plan to fully fund buses is still in the works

itโs WILD to watch a candidate for mayor of one city be held up in right wing media as the loser of situations he has never heard of, nor could ever influence. slam dunk on his ass due toโฆ Kansas City losing public bus funding and a grocery store. did he also tank Fantastic Fourโs box office?

all of this a longwinded way of saying: while I don't pretend to know what the intentions of Third Way or Nichols are, what they're saying is functionally reliant on overt right wing propaganda in a straightforward way. Best, imo, to read it as an active extension of said right wing propaganda

I think the best interpretation of statements like these (both Third Way's and Nichols') is as "Trojan horse propaganda": statements that function as propaganda not because of what they say directly, but the meaning they smuggle in (as most of the replies and QTs are picking up on!)
It would be a huge step forward for Democrats and for general clarity in political writing if these terms went away. These came mostly from academic hothouses.
