Legally, I agree.

I still think it's inappropriate for males (however they identify) to approach teenage girls when they're bra shopping and make them cry.

Still, I'm sure it's the 14 year old who's in the wrong and is an awful bigot. Burn her, probably, right?

  1. If a 14-year-old, accompanied by her mother, is genuinely distressed by a member of staff politely asking if she wants help, the problem absolutely does not lie with the employee.

  2. Anyone working in M&S, Trans woman or not, asking if they can help, isn’t cause for upset

And if you didn’t want that person assisting you? Well I don’t agree with it, but it is possible to ask to speak to another member of staff for help rather than go to the papers & stir up hate 🤷‍♀️

  3. I think a 14 year old crying because she was talked to by a (possibly) trans woman is utterly bizarre.

And of course trans people should by psychic and know exactly why the customer is there. And should never dream of being helpful lest customers prove to be terfs.

  4. I'd bet my house the girl wasn't bothered nearly as much by seeing a trans woman as she was by her mum drawing attention to her by losing her shit about it.
