After watching/reading the last couple months of reddit/twitter liberal entrants, I realize now they all believe what they believe because they want to make money in media. They are all "journalists", artists, writers, performers, etc. and as such have to gobble up every crumb of 'us v. them'.

My grandfather was a teacher in Chicago, a life long Democrat and union member who rode his bike to school every day and taught geometry and chemistry. He was also the teacher-sponsor for the student rifle club and helped kids learn how to shoot in the basement of the school.

Tariff's don't automatically mean prices will rise. Prices only rise when demand is high enough. The other option is for profit margins to shrink.

FYI - if you destroy peoples ability to buy stuff you can defeat inflation, too. That's how demand works, if you can't afford to buy shit, you can't affect its price. The idea that "slashing jobs" is the solution to inflation is the same as starving people to build up food stores.

The healthcare conversation is spinning out of control and still no one mentioned how becoming a Nurse/Doctor isn't yet free (for high GPA 3.0+ students) and the AMA still has a death grip on the education of doctors and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services limits residency spots available
