    I find the law enforcement masking and refusal to ID repugnant, but imitating police to commit a crime has a long history. It’s why police themselves advise driving to a well-lit area or police station if you’re not sure those trying to pull you over are actually cops, for example.

    Possibly. But I suggest that is also true of the Republicans, and probably of all political parties.

    It is increasingly true of the current Republican/MAGA Party. They no longer follow the rule of law. They now follow a cult of personality.
