Bsky community guidelines got updated
Please see the posts in the thread for context abt our concerns because the devil is always in how these rules are enforced. Rampant overcorrection that stifles art and gets people deplatformed who have done nothing wrong is a result we've seen over and over.
the usual vagueness is present here that is usually a bad sign to come for adult content.

I, personally, dont see anything too alarming past it being vague, but being vigilante with these platforms is one part in stopping massive negative changes and censorship.

Seems okay at first, but then you get very ill-defined and easily-manipulable things like "imagery that glorifies violence" that opens the door for bad-faith interpretations to become policy.
Let 'em know that their USP is being "the social media for artists" & that they shouldn't fuck that up.

There's a link to a form within for leaving feedback as well as a separate link for seeing all of the planned updates. Definitely good to fill out the feedback form as a lot of the proposed updates are vague and easily abusable.
