Maybe the powerful accept it, but we don't have to. So who's vegan out there? Who doesn't or limits jet travel? Bike to the grocery store? Take transit or limit travel by car? Buy secondhand? Grow some food or buy local and freeze/can/preserve? Have a heat exchanger? Don't have children?

I'd like to say it's an epidemic, so limited to the US, but really, with the number of authoritarian regimes in the world, it's a pandemic of ignorance and stupidity.

It wouldn't be happening if people shopped in person, which they no longer do, so it must be what the majority wants. And I think the majority also wants housing, so is it that bad?
