Team USA has banned trans people from the US Olympic and Paralympic team.
The ban may violate federal law, given the Ted Stevens act, that prevents the US team from enacting eligibility criteria beyond international federations.

If enough people say they'll refuse to show up to a US based Olympic Games, I'm sure the IOC will push back against it and force the US to get back in line or be banned from competing or hosting anything.
