Technically the US cannot prevent a trans athlete from entering Olympic competition! They can prevent local Olympic organising bodies from sponsoring your application however entering through the independent athlete route doesn’t stop you from entering the Olympics as it doesn’t involve them!

Anyone choosing to represent the USA is making the informed choice to represent a fascist nation.
I get competing for the love of the sport, but there's no way to seperate yourself from that fact when you are competing as a representative of that country.
All athletes should boycott the Olympics.
They are forcing the hand of the IOC in this, and I am not at all sure the IOC will resist the pressure to change their own rules. Not with the new IOC president.

imo even outside fact trans sports bans are not factually warranted, soon as Trump was elected and we knew he'd do insane S like Tariffs to harm global trade AND reverse civil rights etc, Olympics should've made urgent motion to relocate. USA does NOT deserve prestige/econ boost of hosting Olympics

The fact they won't even consider creating a category for trans people so they can compete just shows how deep the prejudice has gone. They don't want them competing at all and that is wrong.

This is one of the times that i would argue a public pressure campaign is warranted, this puts them in direct violation of 36 USC 220522(15) and legally risks them being disbanded as national governing bodies.

This not the hill to die on. A handful of people should not usurp the needs of the whole , such as healthcare. This is the toehold the MAGAts have been given.
