Apparently I'm a Shannon Stan and I am not really into R.E.M.
Just had someone in my YouTube videos of the Michael Shannon Jason Narducy r.e.m. show that they are shit and people only went because Michael Shannon is a famous actor. From where I saw it was all hardcore r.e.m. fans and the band and Michael were absolutely outstanding 🤷🏼♂️

i like Michael Shannon a lot as an actor but i was more enticed by having legit musicians like Wurster and Narducy who are clearly huge fans of the band, the shows felt more like a celebration of r.e.m. rather than tribute band. i know you can say whats the difference but for me there definitely is

that was a big thing for me being with so many r.e.m. fans and probably even more than when i went to see the band themselves that there would be loads of casual fans due to the size of the venue where these shows had a high concentration of hardcore fan

It was literally as close as you could get to the real thing. I can honestly see this running for a while as the band seem to have so much fun
