It always struck me as curious that Trump - a career criminal with some 70 years elpractice, with roots in mob-adjacent culture - had no record of having people rubbed out. Until now, and not domestically.

Following up: Under GA law, Gov must issue writ of election within 10 days of vacancy; election within 30 days thereafter; open field, no primary BUT GA is a runoff state - if nobody hits 50%, top 2 face each other (another 10 + 40?) later.

Depending on GA special election procedures (which is have not examined), it might come down to a plurality contest pitting a DJT proxy, a MTG proxy, and a Dem against each other.
Even if not, House GOP will play short-handed for weeks or months.
