Depends what the wedding is supposed to do for you. If people want an ostentatious display of conspicuous consumption, pay top dollar and start saving for the divorce. If it's about lifelong love, as everyone here has said so far, money is a really stupid way to measure its value!

Here's a thought. You could remove fees altogether for all schools. You could call it State education.
