I’m an avid Colts fan! Father and husband by day, CNC Machinist by night. I enjoy a good intellectual debate to better learn why people’s opinions are what they are in life.

  1. Yep it ended in 2024. The organization said it failed due to the lack of reliable infrastructure such as internet and electricity in these areas. You just wish they would have thought of that beforehand and put that money towards a more relevant project for these areas.

  2. The project was aimed at the farmers specifically to help them find buyers for their harvests online but was ultimately deemed ineffective after 4 years, per the organization that ran the project. I can cite some project info if you wanna learn more about it.

  3. One example is USAID approving a $450k grant to an organization whose mission was to provide computer literacy training to farmers in rural parts of Nigeria, where electricity isnt reliable. Why waste tax-dollar like that? If we wanna help them, check the basics first like safe water infrastructure.

  4. Protesting at home can be even more important than street protests! Call, email, mail your representatives daily, start or spread online petitions. Spread awareness on social media. Ensure the time and place of the next protest is well-known and spread online. You can make a difference!

  5. I like to think that without those wiling to sacrifice for our country, like the selfless Marines in WW2, we’d all actually be speaking Japanese! lol. The countless battles on the islands of the Pacific were brutal. Read some personal accounts of Marines who survived. Soul-crushing.
