Aston Villa fan. Strategy, reputation and action as a day job. Views my own.

  1. Farage warns Britain’s "lawless” and "near collapse”. Meanwhile violent crime halved, robberies down 60%, burglary down two-thirds, air and water cleaner, road deaths and killer diseases halved.

Britain has positives, the govt need to show it Farage's arguments falling apart.

  2. Reading X, you’d think no asylum hotels existed until Labour came to power last year

Numbers in asylum hotels have fallen since 2024. There’s more to do, but the hypocrisy of some like Jenrick who could’ve addressed this is an astounding combination of hypocrisy and opportunism

  3. By 2030 it is estimated Brexit is likely to have cost the UK around £1,000 billion in aggregate lost GDP based on analysis of sources including OBR, NIESR, LSE, and Rabobank.

Would you trust Farage with the economy when he championed an act of such economic self harm?

  4. Just had a very uneventful day in London - work, cycled, played football and all was calm and pleasant.

Much more boring and than many would have you believe, but don’t let the doom, gloom and a big helping of lies get you down.

  5. Yes immigration needs to be addressed, but how come you never see Farage and his media grandstanders talk about the progress the UK has made from climate to air quality to reducing crime. The numbers leaving are at record lows.

They talk the country down to further own agenda.

  6. Farage loses to both Davey and Starmer. He’s a good campaigner, but do people see him as a leader?

A sign of the Conservatives woes that Farage beats Badenoch though.

  7. He’s not wrong and for all of those who will criticise, a customs union would be one of the most straight forward ways to get economic growth

  8. Worth remembering Johnson’s Brexit aimed to control borders by ending EU free movement, but tackling illegal immigration has got tougher

Losing EU cooperation like the Dublin Regulation and limited returns (only 5 to EU in 2021) has actually helped increase small boat crossings

  9. The faux outrage on Peter Kyle's comments vs. the free pass Farage gets from a lot of commentators is quite something to see.

If Farage had said it, they'd be praising and championing free speech. Double standards?
