Oh boy, what a terrible, horrible phase of life to travel through, my sincere sympathies. It's possible for things to go two ways in such a situation. Either fall under the evil's charms, or successfully identify and disdain it. The second is more virtuous, obviously.

You'd never traveled in circles that gave themselves to glamorizing such rot.

A lot of white people will have a different perspective than a lot of black people. And often those white people are oblivious to the issue, even when the result is disdain rather than violence.

"Hey, what's here is better than Marxism" only has a finite lifetime at best, as the excuses for not caring lubricate the road towards some other form of clumsy bum authoritarianism.

A lot of those problems -- I suggest -- centered around para-academic settings where ultra-wokeness sprang up, an attitude where student militancy took umbrage at the very idea of wokeness needing a rational defense. Who instigated it, I'm not saying. It could even be right wingers themselves.

Are those the only satellite missions that can possibly do this? Watch for China, of all people, to fill the hole.
