Very astute observation, agreed. I definitely understand why both are somewhat linear in Act 1, would be too overwhelming otherwise. I thought they both did a masterful job of widening the gates in Act 2 and then throwing them open in Act 3.

I truly marvel at YT vids where people manage to parry every one of an insane boss' moves. Even on standard enemies I'm lucky if I dodge 4x in a row.

My God, Expedition 33 is even more exquisite in French (makes sense given most of the dev team is French). I'd say I understand about 80% of it. I really need to get back to studying this exceptionally beautiful language.
