The movie The Purge, but only super-rich people are allowed to commit crimes and get away with it, and it’s every day… and I’m just describing our country right now… never mind.

You are right, Melanie. In the US there is one system of "justice" for the rich, and one for the rest of us. It is the pits.

  2. Has anyone noticed that Trump is hiring actual criminals into his administration? And right in front of our faces he is giving jobs to known s/o? Is there anyone keeping track of the kids who have been separated from their parents?

  3. Our country is seen for maybe the first time as the warmongering invader and destroyer it has always been since its violent inception, at home and abroad.

  4. As always a friendly reminder that if the punishment for anything is a fine, its only a crime if you're poor.

  5. Reverse Purge...

Every single rich mother fkr is fair game.

We will only sequester certain ones for safe keeping, like Mark Hamill, George Takei, Keanu....very small amount.

  7. Reminds me (sort of) of Tom Wolfe's 1987 novel "Bonfire of the Vanities", which became a movie in 1990. To your point, the upper class get away with murder, literally.

  8. Don’t attack populists - outflank them. See “Outflanking Populism - a Manifesto to Inspire Trust, Create Hope, and Demand Immediate Positive Change” by George Evans. UK-centric but the message applies everywhere. On Amazon

  9. I suppose it’s no comfort to know that there are many countries like this. Sad that the US is now one of them.

  10. Fiction becomes reality.

Next: have U realized that zombies are (generally) very similar to poor people?

BTW have you ever watch some move with wallstreet-cat like zombies?

  11. I've been robbed 3 times this year after not being robbed for a decade. The cops won't even accept my reports. The working class is eating itself alive while the government watches like it's Squid Games.

I saw The Purge. It was so disturbing and dystopian. And I must agree, so spot on for this moment.

  14. I had learned about Oligarchy but I had not really thought about as anything more than people being ambitious but now I see it in a whole different light.

  15. We had a nasty Prime Minister from 2006-2015 in Canada - equivalent to maybe a mildly-evil Republican governor in the USA - and I festered him, everyday. But this, THIS: Trump. Like OMFG. I don’t even know how you guys go about your day-to-day. I’d be comatose or in jail. For real. Historically bad.

  16. The law doesn't exist anymore.

The Executive is a felon. SCOTUS is full of rapists. The legislature is full of corruption Prison governers are slavers Journalists are sycophants. Bankers are usurers. Food producers are adulterators Religious leaders are child molestors

    Everything is corrupted.

  19. When criminals decide the laws, we have what is not the Un so called United States, where the super rich people make the laws, like where rape, podophylla and slavery becomes legal, this is MAGA?

  20. I think The Purge will be when Trump starts seeking his police force on Americans who haven’t done anything

    Just my opinion

  21. We are all playing a game of Monopoly.

We’re now at the stage where the rich have hotels on all the purple, green, yellow, red, orange, pink and blue properties.

And they’ve convinced the rest of us that if we keep playing the same game we can still win.

  22. We should have a movie with the premise reversed: "The Reckoning."

20 billionaires, chosen by lottery, have to survive one week. If they die, all their assets are liquidated, and distributed evenly to the poorest. If they live, the same thing happens, but they get to live, exiled and ostracized.

  23. Yeah, it sorta feel like its coming to that, but a a lot of us are armed so I don't think it would go as well as they think

  24. You know, we OUTNUMBER the rich and we OUTNUMBER their bodyguards. If we could get together a mob of 10,000 Maenads or so we could eat the flesh of ANY billionaire.
