It amazes me people don’t see teams that win regularly have a core of about 15-18 super regular starters. Ali, Mo, Ibou, Virg & Ryan started every CL or PL game in the main. The rest are really fluid. I see the same this season.

I’m in agreement. I believe he got the gig because have can deal with getting a new group to gel and accept his ideas real quick.
I suspect Wirtz, Kerkez and Frimpong will ALL be active immediately. I also think Ekitike minutes will depend on Isak arriving BUT Ekitike may start LW a lot.

Maddison having a season long injury should encourage Spurs to ask about Harvey. That’s the club I’ve always thought suited him best.
Plonk him in the 10 and let him flourish.

In goal actions he’s practically a 10 on highlights, but I’m not sure if Portugal is basically like the Scottish league with two good teams and some dross. I don’t give it much attention.
If we can find someone quick with a line splitting pass or a diagonal, that’d help.

Against City, Chelsea and Arsenal, he’s a forward. Against anyone else I think he’s a 10 in the midfield.
