The Muses were incredible but otherwise everyone was quite low energy. Felt like the director's note was just "make it camp" and it turned out a bit pantomime-y :(
Back from London seeing Hercules last night. Was so excited to see it for ages but we were both quite disappointed. Some bizarre plot changes from the film, the director seemed to misunderstand the characters and source material, and just overall missing that bit of magic that made the film great. 🥲
I'm convinced it's because devs sit and play their games on computers and it sat on a couch across the living room like I do 🤣
